You can make it seem like something terrible will happen to it ;). Just tell her how much work you're willing to do with it and even tell her that if she's not happy with how you're taking care of it, THEN you'll find a new place for it to live. I guarantee she won't make you get rid of it when it's in the house, but I'm sure she'll find solace in knowing she has options. And make a point that if the dog hasn't attacked before, I doubt he'd start now. That's a silly reason.

I love literature. I know that some people think literature is boring, but that's because they are not reading in between the lines and trying to understand the symbolism. I started enjoying literature a long time ago when I was high school and a teacher really helped me experience literature in a whole new perspective. Gaining rabbits trust??

I have two rabbits around 4 years old, one is albino and has problems hearing and seeing, I do special whistle for her to let her know Im there which both rabbits respond to, the other has problems with her teeth , because of this pressing on her tear ducts she gets a lot of discharge from her eyes and i have to give her eye drops everyday, because of this she is very wary of my touching her in the hutch, so i try to keep that to a minimum in there, outside of the hutch things are slightly better, i go out as often as i can throughout the day with small bits of food for them and they both come running over and sit with me and sometimes even put their front legs on me trying to get more food and they will let me stroke them for short time, but don't really let me do it without food, how can i gain their trust and let them know that my touching them can be a good thing, and to enjoy being stroked and trust me when i don't have food?? I know they have some trust of me , but its so hard because the slightest thing can spook them, especially a different smell on me, it could be really faint but i cant get anywhere near them if there is something there, the only thing they respond to from me is food, is there anything i can do?? any advice would really help, thanks. My iPod has frozen - help!?

My iPod has frozen. The clock is working fine, but that's all that's working! It's stuck on the clock screen and won't budge. I've tried charging it, holding down the play and middle ons together, likewise with the menu and middle on. I just went to MEPS for processing for the USAF. I swore in and now I am in the DEP program. When I was 13 I was getting into trouble. I got got arrested for a domestic violence but I never was charged with it. I was fingerprinted for it. The main charge I had was a retail theft when I was 13 the item was like 15 dollars which doesn't need a waiver because it's under 50 dollars. That led to me being on probation. I kept violating my probation so I had to go to the jdc form anywhere like 2 weeks to 3months over the course of 4years. I also had to go to the juvenile DOC, because I kept violating my probation by skipping school and missing curfew. Nothing serious but the judge was getting sick of me. When I was 16 I completed a Military school and got off probation at 16. My record was sealed and closed. I told my recruiter about the retail theft at 13 and about the violation of probation, but my recruiter told me to lie and say that I just had a retail theft and I completed my probation and it's closed. I didn't mention the other things to him because he told me that I would need a waiver and now you have to score a 65 to get in the USAF with a waiver. I have been trying to get in for the past 5months and I would have to wait even longer if i get a wavier. I was 4 points away from 65. I don't know what to do. My recruiter said I it wouldn't show up and that when you a juvenile petty charges like that don't matter(the retail theft). I am now 20 years old and married my husband is in the airforce. I am no longer like I was when I was a young teen.Will they find out? And will I get kicked out of the military if I leave for basic? Please help! what should I do?

Hello. I just bought a set of aftermarket tail lights for my 2000 Volkswagen golf. The lights fit great, but the only thing that wont work is the brake lights. They will either not light up at all with the headlights on, or will illuminate all of the brake lights even without the brake on. I am not sure what I should do. Okay so I have been sick for three weeks now. I have had a cough that was really productive at first and now it is just dry and hacking sounding. Could you help me with my life?

I dunno whats happening anymore. I am only 15, but I am always stressed, feeling down, angry, lonely and am always full of heartache. I have friends at school who try to make me feel better but it never works. I have been this way ever since I moved away from my dad. I left him behind coz he was becoming abusive and I had to leave for my own safety. But i left behind my best friend also. These make me feel sad and angry. I am stressed because of the amount of pressure I am under at school. Lonely because I have nobody to talk to about this as my parents don't really care. Heartache because I wanna get somewhere in life, you know for a sport or something, its my dream and I don't wanna give it up but i think i have to because i am sure I can't make it with all of these emotions and lack of energy. I think most populations are genetically diverse enough to ensure survival. I tend to think those people of mixed heritage seem to be the most attractive. My wife is Chinese. We don't have any children but a couple of her cousins have mixed marriages and very beautiful children.

It's definitely an OCD thing. I do the same thing, but with scabs. I even scratch and pick while I'm sleeping. The only thing that seems to help is to remove one of your "tools" for the process. I got fake nails put on, which are thicker, and I was then unable to pull up the scabs. Maybe if you wore pair of close fitting gles or your hair up or a hat or some kind of physical barrier then you could reduce your pulling. I completely relate; I'm a grown woman who delights in picking scabs the way a child does.

Flat screen TV mounting over a fireplace?

Ok I live in a condo that has a funny layout. The fireplace is kind of in a corner and above it is the "media" area. There is a whole cut out in the wall where a normal old school type tv fits and a small shelf where the dvd player sits. I'm in the market for a flat screen...possibly plasma tv. I have measured it and the actual hole is 35 inches (corner to corner) and 39 1/2 inches from the top of the wall down to where the dvd shelf is built in. I wanna mount the tv brackets on the outside of the hole area and situate the tv there. I don't want to see the hole, I don't want to have another hole drilled in the wall to run cables/wires, I don't want to have to purchase a stand and go through the trouble of rearranging the furniture for that. Is this possible. I don't see why not. I seen a mounting bracket at best buy that will expand up to 80 inches. I have used the stud finder and there are studs on both sides of the tv hole. Why would this be a bad idea? Shouldn't it be possible? Also....is there any store that offers free installation? Best buy said they would install it for 349.00....which I think is a bit much since the tv itself is gonna cost around a grand, plus 250 for the bracket.

I just recently had a major mental breakdown. I was with my parents in the car and something happened that I got angry. I had never felt like this before. As i was listening to my IPod in the car with my parents....my heart rate began to increase dramatically. I begin to have a major headache and my body began to feel stiff. Like the blood in my body is rushing through out my body at a very high rate. Out of nowhere, it reached its climax. My face was getting stiffer and I cried like never before. As I cried, my body and head hurt to the point that i screamed in the car and my hand went up while i was sitting. I body was so stiff that i couldn't control it. I couldn't move my hand but it was up. I had no control at all. I walk of the car and kept walking till my sister came and i cried even more. My body was num for awhile. And when i manage to recover, my parents doesn't want to talk about what had happen. I can tell that they were concern but i guess they feel uncomfortably about the topic. But now i feel uneasy inside. I expereneced all of the emotion that i have been holding in for many years. And it just burst. Is there anyway that i can prevent it from happening again? I am usually the type who deal with their issue individually. I expect no one to help and choose to fight on my own. What mental workout can i do to relieve my stress.

Hi guys i keep gettin a foamy skin on the water surface of my aquarium?

i have the aquarium set up about 18 months now but in the last 4 months i got a kinda bacteria bloom or sometin it made the water seem cloudy grey 4 ages and would not clear up with water changes but when i left it alone it with no water changes it cleared up in 2 weeks but im worried it will come back again as i keep gettin this foam on the water surface and i dont understand why im getting it .i keep dwarf cichlids in the tank and i was wondering could this be as a result of them breeding and not knowing wot to do with the eggs and jus discarding them or wot could it be i must also mention that all the fish are healthy swimming around and up to there tricks as cichlids do yeno and i take tank matinaince seroiusly every 2 weeks water changes partial gravel vac and clean the filter if needed too if any 1 knows wot i shud do do tell me as iv bn lookin it up online and cant seem to find any answers to wot im lookin 4 any way tanks 4 looking guys

Bipolar ex wife has mentally ill public drug users around my son. Can I prove her unfit?

To give you the background...my ex wife is bipolar, diagnosed since '94, I am too since '07. We recently (reluctantly on my part) agreed for me to get my son the first and third weekends of the month. She crippled me in court getting a protective order. (3rd in two years. First time I caught her trying to have a with my son locked in his room after we had been separated a week. She filed a PO and dropped it 6 days later. The second time, I had tried to move on with a woman who had it more together (wife would not work, kept racking up CC bills). She cited my own bipolar, denied hers. I now have doentation of hers and she finally admits it in court. I didnt have proof at the time. Once she found out I dumped the gfriend, she dropped it citing "he has never hit me, cursed me, or harmed me physically, and I know he would not" on a dismissal form. The third time, I informed her I would take our son with me if we split, she had me removed). I fought for 8 months to see him two days a month, then in December got the first and third weekends of the month supervised. I found out recently her best friend who I found baby sits my son on occion and stays overnight has posted a pic of herself on facebook smoking pot along with various references to drugs suck as "Heavy narcotics" and ual exchanges with my wife (they are both bi and had a previous relationship). She is also bipolar, has stolen pills from my ex in the past, and has been found almost dead in a bathtub before with her wrist slit. I had run her off while were together but she is back in the picture in my absence. My son informed me his Mom has a new friend staying with them so I sent a family member who videotaped his truck in her driveway throughout the night after my son was returned. I know the guy through a mutual friend as being a paranoid schizophrenic on disability. My son has also told me of another friend who comes over (with a criminal record in the past 5 years for Eluding Police and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. I know the guy as an alcoholic. In court, they dont want to hear the old issues though I hope with a new hearing my ex will bring up the bogus protective orders grasping at straws allowing me to defend them with my doentation which shows a conflicting pattern. If my bipolar ex has had the gall to use my own bipolar as a reason to keep me away in the past, what business does she have with those degenerates. My condition is stable (Only aggravated when my son was removed from my life unjustly) and I have found a good woman who knows the past allegations are completely false (she has known me ten years) We are planning to get a house with a bedroom for my 6 year old son and I have told her we would probably have to get married. She supports my decision to pursue full custody, has met my son, he asks to see her/go over her house. She has been a witness to many of his statements including his "hating to go home" My ex is also in contempt of a provision SHE asked for, no corporal punishment. My son tells me his Mom and another one of her friends has ed him recently. There is also a Property Settlement Agreement she is trying to nullify at our final divorce proceeding that states neither party shall have unrelated members of the opposite around him after nine. I have a competent attorney on my case, but thanks to the enormous complexity of information I am confronted with it takes about a hundred dollars everytime I give him a written summary of her stupidity to review. The order drops in November of this year as I have abided by it to the letter. What are my odds of getting custody from her with the PO in place, what are the odds after it is over, and at the very least, can I have these shady individuals ordered to stay away from him? This new woman in my life is gainfully employed at the same company for 7 years, makes more than my ex did when she did work, has no criminal record (neither do I) and has no mental illness. I would appreciate any advice on the matter

you need to understand the cause of lick granuloma. there are many causes. it could be emotional stress--someone's death or someone leaving, being jealous or unhappy. it could also be a physical stress. bandaging is not a efficient solution--and in the long run i don't think it will work. You can go to your vet and he will give you a ointment to put on the dog. this may work. also if it is an emoti stress try to find out what it is, and take away or try to cure this emotional stress. the bottom line is there is no guranteed cure for lick granuloma, though the ointment, vet, or emotional relief may and hopefully help. How can I help my granddaughter get over not playing with the neighbors kids, they are bullies?

Last week we had a falling out with our neighbor's. They moved here from Las Vegas about 2 years ago, they have two little boy's, one 6 yrs and one 4 yrs. These two little guys are very mean and disrespectful. They have repeatedly put their hands on my granddaughter age 6 yrs and my grandson age 3 yrs. The hitting has been the biggest issue for us. These two little boys are not very nice to each other either. Last summer the older boy pushed my granddaughter to the ground and choked her so hard that she almost ped out, she cam to me and told me about this, the father happened to be outside talking to us, he made the boy go into the house, while the mother acted like it was my granddaughters FAULT! We have had many problems with them hitting. Last week they were again playing outside, the youngest boy took his fist and planted it in my granddaughters face, eye. Again, we were outside visiting with the parents when i noticed my GD was not outside, I went to find her, she was upstairs with a cold washcloth over her eye crying, I asked her why she did not come tell us, she replied I didnt want to cause a problem with everyone. I was so mad, I reacted by going ooutside with her in my arms, and called the boys to "their" driveway, to ask if the boy hit her, why sis he hit her? The oldest boy ran to his mom and said he didnt hit her, while the yongest boy said he did hhit her. I suggested that we let my GD tell her side of the story, the mother started yelling at the top of her lungs at me telling me I was a trouble maker. It ended up with her husband calling me a name, them ttelling us to get out of their yard. I have decided to just not let my Grandchildren have anything to do with them.
