Should I just stop trying to contact them?...............?

I'm "friends" with Craig, KT and Angela. Today Craig and I were supposed to hang out after school. btw I live 30 min from where he lives and I go to a different school. So after school I drove down to pick him up only to find out that Craig and KT got into a fight (they are boyfriend Girlfriend), Craig is a cool kid and we have been friends for a while and we used to hang out a lot, however I drove down to his house only to find out that he didn't feel like hanging out anymore. He did say sorry however what pissed me off was that he didn't let me know ahead of time so I wasted time and gas for nothing. What really bothers me about these three friends is that they only sometimes reply to my txts or calls but sometimes they never reply or call back. Tonight for example I sent Craig a txt saying that I hope he and KT work everything out and to let me know if he ever wanted to chill, no response, I sent Angela a text asking if she wanted to look for jobs, no response.
