Make sure she knows you'll take care of it 100% so she never has to even think twice about it. Pay all vet bills (but be prepared, they can get big!), and tell her it'll wind up in a shelter to be killed or be let outside to fend for itself. You can make it seem like something terrible will happen to it ;). Just tell her how much work you're willing to do with it and even tell her that if she's not happy with how you're taking care of it, THEN you'll find a new place for it to live. I guarantee she won't make you get rid of it when it's in the house, but I'm sure she'll find solace in knowing she has options. And make a point that if the dog hasn't attacked before, I doubt he'd start now. That's a silly reason.

It was a scam. It's possible he would have asked you to go to your bank or an ATM and withdraw some money for "good faith" or whatever. He'd claim he'd add his money to yours, but, somehow, he was going to end up with your money.

Why did France abolish a dictatorship in Louis XVI and then setup another in Napoleon?

first off the people of France during this time for the most part adored Napoleon, he was a very charismatic person and hingly brilliant. its easy to see why he was allowed to stay in power. and for the most part he was a great leader of both the army and the people of France. i know i will be tormented by others for saying that but he truly was. he put many bills into place that had a very positive effect on the country, he also turned France from a world power to the world power and of course every one knows his military successes and failures so i have no need to go on in that regard. this of course is a very simple explanation but one that holds firm. brilliant men/woman can easily grab power through manipulation and simply by being charming.

I love literature. I know that some people think literature is boring, but that's because they are not reading in between the lines and trying to understand the symbolism. I started enjoying literature a long time ago when I was high school and a teacher really helped me experience literature in a whole new perspective. I love literature because there is meaning behind it. It conveys a message to the reader, and truly makes you think. I love books that make you think and I love symbolism.
