What are some of the social injustices we face today in our world?

I'm trying to write a paper on how we are living in an era of cost containment, social injustice, and ethical relativism...but I"m strugglign with finding some...social injustices in our world. So far i've brainstormed the unfairness between wages for men and women, and how it is unfair that gay marriages are accepted in only certain states, and how capital punishment does not deter all people who kill, only those who intentionally kill. For example, someone who drunk drives and kill someone are just sentenced to a few years of jail.
