Why can't scientists get to the origin of life?

The evolutionist you talked to is right. There will be no hard proof unless somehow someone invents a time machine and managed to show bacteria becoming plants and animals over the course of millions of years. Don't believe all those atheists you talk to. Are they even scientists? The concept of evolution doesn't say anything about the origin of life. Evolution is just a general term that says that genepool in a population can change over time. We all know that dogs come from humans selectively breeding wolves or that bacteria are constantly evolving, thus the need for us to come up with new ways to fight these new antibiotic resistant bacteria. There's no arguing that.
