Regarding phobic bigots: Does anyone still believe "I may not agree with what you have to say..."?

I had an aunt who was phobic about snakes, and she did not go out on weekends looking for snakes to beat up. Earlier today I was sitting around chatting with a gay friend, I support anyone's right to marry whoever they want, and I think what seven people do in the privacy of their own bedroom etc etc but those bigots are not phobic- they just find it disgusting. And I will defend to the death their rights to say that.
